The Songs We Wrote

Last spring, I was thrilled to get the chance to work on a 1940s period piece called “The Songs We Wrote”, directed by Sam Fenkel and written by Sam Fenkel and Ryan Dailey. “The Songs We Wrote” follows the story of Jack Valentine, I closeted gay man and rising star in Hollywood as he navigates his secret relationship with his lover and songwriter. I play Faye Holloway, a famous actress who takes Jack under her wing as they embark on filming a new Hollywood blockbuster. I always adore period pieces, especially when they explore the opposing glamor and dark underbelly of the golden age of Hollywood, so it was a blast to work on this. The film is lovely and I’m so excited to share it with the world. Enjoy the stills below!
